RE

At the moment, we are in our topic looking at the Environment and humanity’s relationship to it, based on both religious and non-religious beliefs about the world’s origins (e.g. Genesis) and also how responsible we are for how we treat it.

As part of this, you should look to complete research on one (or more) of the following organisations:

  • Greenpeace, Greta Thunberg, WWF or Extinction Rebellion

You need to find out:

  • Who are they?
  • What do they do?
  • Why do they do it?
  • How do they do it?

You can present this however you choose to, either using a computer or not. The guidance is also on the PowerPoint.

PE

Keeping yourself active during the school closure is very important for both your physical and mental health

This could be as simple as going for a walk/ run/ bike ride

If however you want to do something different why don’t you try and complete the Debenham High School Fitness Bingo Card

You could do this on your own or make it a fun, family activity

How it works:

  • - Start off with the bronze coloured card
  • - Pick a line and then try and cross off each square over the course of the day- this could be in one go or at different times throughout the day
  • - Once you have crossed off all the lines on the bronze card, move to the silver and then the gold cards.
  • - As you move up the different coloured cards, you will notice that they get more physically challenging
  • - If you find this too hard, you can always keep on the coloured card that best suits your fitness level
  • - You could also think about changing the number of certain movement to make it more suited to you- your parent/ carer might be able to help with this
  • - Most of the exercises require no equipment but if you don’t have a skipping rope or something that you can step on to, choose a different exercise
